What Does Stewardship Mean?

Stewardship is caring for what matters most. For us, it means taking care of our Fellowship, oue resources, our UU values, and the future. We do this by offering our time, talents, and treasure to nurture our spiritual community and building meaningful connections.

Why Year-Round Stewardship?

A year-round approach enables us to be always mindful of the needs of both our Fellowship and the Lakeside community in which we live. This allows for:

The Three Pillars of Stewardship

Relationship

Relationships are at the heart of LCUUF. Stewardship means building coemmunity—through small groups, celebrations, and care for one another. Our bonds are deepened through shared experiences and mutual support.

Time and Talent 

Our community thrives on the time and skills our members contribute. We volunteerin worship, music, hospitality, education, care,leadership. This is part of how we live our mission. We match our talents to our needs.

Treasure

Giving—whether annual, monthly, or occasionally —lays the foundation for all we do. We encourage thoughtful, sustainable giving according to one’s ability and circumstgances. and offer flexible options to meet your needs. Every donation, big or small, helps us grow together and we are grateful for each person’s generosity.

Our Vision

Our vision is rooted in Unitarian Universalist values. We work to create an open and welcoming space where Generosity, Gratitude and Love are acknowledged and celebrated.
